The other intercoolers out on the market are dual-pass core, meaning coolant flows through the first half of the core, where it absorbs heat. Normally, this heated coolant should return to the vehicle’s cooling circuit (passing through heat exchangers and fans to cool down). However, in this setup, the coolant is rerouted through the bottom half of the core before it enters the vehicle’s cooling system.  This is not efficient whatsoever.. just easier to build for mass production. 

The RaggDoll Motorsports Intercooler for all 718 Cayman and Boxster models is a single-pass unit. This design allows coolant to flow through the core and immediately begin cooling down via the vehicle’s charge-cooler coolant circuit.

    •    Tube & Fin core with optimum fin density of 20 fins per inch to maximize recovery rates
    •    Charge cooler cores are coated externally with a graphene high polymer coating which offers great benefits to thermal dissipation
